I Timothy 4:12 teaches ‘don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.’

Constituting a vital organization of the Parish, the CSI Dubai Youth Movement was set up very early since the formation of the parish.  Youth is the energetic, vibrant factor of any fruitful Church.  By the grace of God the youth fellowship has been an integral part of the Dubai CSI parish since its formation. Many of the early youth members of the church are now an integral part of the choir, Sunday school, women’s’ fellowship and members of the church committee.  The fellowship has always been supported and guided by all the vicars and elders of the church in the past.

The youth fellowship meets every 2nd and 4th Saturdays and occasionally on Fridays at the Trinity Church Hall.  The meetings are led by the vicar and consists of praise & worship, Bible studies, Bible Quiz, open discussions and other programmes.  The youth does actively involve in various mission projects including regular support of a missionary doctor in Andhra Mission.

The youth members prayerfully support all the activities of the church.  Members teach in Sunday school, sing in the choir and also voluntarily support all the programs of the church.  We volunteer with the arrangements for Sunday school, actively participate in Talents’ day competitions, supports arrangements for Christmas Carols, contributes in various ways for the success of Harvest festival, co-ordinate church picnic arrangements and the annual get together.

The youth fellowship actively supports the VBS of the parish by being involved in singing and also helps with other arrangements like food packet distribution and transportation.

We also do organize sports activities for members of the parish and organize regular bowling, cricket and football matches.  These activities help us to grow the fellowship and benefit our physical fitness.

In obedience to the instruction by Jesus, in Matthew: 28:19, ‘Go and make disciples’, the Youth Movement continues to grow and bridge the spiritual journey between a child and an adult with the sole aim of attaining His eternal Kingdom, holding on to the promise which ends the verse, ‘And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age’.

We pray that we continue to grow spiritually by the grace of God and the guidance of the vicar and elders to be His witnesses at the places God has called us to be and look forward for all the friends of youth join us to work together for the glory of God
