The fourth day of the VBS saw children dressed in white attire, symbolising a clean heart. As usual, the session started with the prayer song followed by the opening prayer. The singing team sang melodious choruses which was enjoyed by the attendees.
The VBS director Mr. V. B. Mathews, taught about the sub theme "Useful Vessel” (Philemon 1:11, 2 Corinthians 5:17). Touching on the story of Onesimus, the director taught the children about how sin can distract us from leading a holy life and displease God (Isaiah 53:6). However, in the end Onesimus's debts were paid for and he was made useful. Salvation is a threefold journey, which requires us to A - Admit, B - Believe, C -Call on Him. God doesn't expect us to be stagnant christians, instead we should grow in Him each day.
The day was observed as the day of giving, by the children, instilling the message of caring for those in need.
The day ended with the surrender song and closing prayer.
