On day 5 of the VBS, the attendees came dressed in green theme, to symbolise spiritual growth. The day started with the prayer song and opening prayer. The singing team led the singing sessions with old and new meaningful songs.
The VBS director Mr. V. B. Mathews, introduced the sub theme "Glorious Vessel”. The director mentioned that we have to grow in our faith and be prepared for receiving Christ on his second coming (Matthew 25:1-13). Children learned about honouring God with their time, talents and treasures. " We need to honour God without expecting anything in return. He will reward us at the right time, and make us His glorious vessels. The athlete Eric Liddell, at the 1924 Paris Olympic Games, made headlines for refusing to run his 100-meter heat because it was held on a Sunday. Subsequently, he went on to win the gold medal in the 400 meters breaking the world record. This underpins the message "When you honour God, God will honour you."
Inspection of classes was done, followed by the altar call.
The day ended with the closing prayer by Rev. Raju Jacob.
