The CSI UAE Youth Cricket tournament for the year 2022, under the leadership of the CSI UAE Youth Movement, was conducted on December 1st, 2022 at MCC Ground, Ajman. The event was hosted by the CSI Parish Sharjah.
The youth members of the parishes of Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jebel Ali & Sharjah along with the good crowd support from all the parishes had actively participated in the tournament. The first round was a league stage match where every parish contested a thrilling 7 over match against each other. The top two teams, CSI Parish Sharjah and CSI Parish Abu Dhabi qualified for the finals. CSI Parish Sharjah emerged as the winners and CSI Parish Abu Dhabi were the Runners up for the tournament.
CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai became the second runners up losing to CSI Parish Abu Dhabi in the Final league decider match. The CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai team members (in picture above) were Binu Sam (Captain), Amrith Eapen, Arun John, Bibin Mathew, Darvin K. Baby, Jacob P. Baby, Joseph Thomas Callelil, Kevin Joseph, Nirmal J. Manohar, Rajesh James, Rintu Philip George, Sachin Saji Mathew, Shelly George, Sunny Job David and Terry Mathew. Nirmal J. Manohar was given the award for the Man of the Match for the match between CSI Parish (Malayalam) Dubai and Jebel Ali Parish for his all round performance.
